24-hour charity endurance event. Five disciplines. One cause. In the name of every dad who's had to find his own way through.
Every block recreates a stage of the mental health journey — physically. The chaos of breakdown. The grind of holding on. The weight that never fully lifts. The work that changes you. And finally, the quiet on the other side. You feel all of it over 24 hours.
Pre-dawn coastal run. 7am start — before the light settles. No plan. No rhythm. Just survive the noise.
Gold Coast road loops. Find cadence. Start moving forward. The moment you stop reacting and start leading.
Above Gym Currumbin. Heavy carries. Partner work. Where you meet the version of yourself you've been avoiding.
Weighted beach march. Sand. Pack. Head torch. Dark. You carry it. You keep going. That's the whole point.
Currumbin Creek. Still water. Slow strokes. Finally quiet. The man who paddles out is not the man who ran in the dark.
The Dads4Dads Foundation provides crisis coaching, legal navigation support, emergency grants, and the Custody Reintegration Program — for Australian fathers fighting to stay present in their children's lives after separation.
Your $100 registration is a direct donation to that fight.
of separated children never see their father again

This event is open to everyone. You don't need to be a separated dad to take it on.
A mate, a brother, a dad, a friend who's been through it. Carry their story through every block. Let them know someone went 24 hours in their name.
You know what the dark looks like. You know what the long way forward costs. Run it again — this time on your terms, for a cause that gets it.
24 hours. Five disciplines. Pre-dawn start. Through the night. If you're going to push yourself, push for something real.

What time does it start?
7:00am sharp, Saturday 2 May 2026. Arrive by 6:30am to register. The run kicks off at 7am — early is on time.
Where is it?
Base camp: Above Gym Currumbin, Gold Coast. The run and march are on coastal paths and beach. Kayak is on Currumbin Creek. Full details sent on registration.
Do I need to be fit?
You need to complete five disciplines over 24 hours. You don't need to be elite — you need to be willing. Come prepared, not perfect.
What about the bike?
Bring your own — road or MTB both work. Need hire? Email johnnie@dads4dads.com.au and we'll sort it.
Do I have to be a separated dad?
Not at all. This is for anyone — mates supporting someone they love, people who've battled mental health, anyone who wants to push themselves for a cause worth fighting for.
What's the men's work between blocks?
Structured gaps between each discipline — journaling prompts, conversation, reflection. Bring a journal and pen. No pressure, no performance.
Is my $100 tax-deductible?
Not currently — DGR status application is in progress. We'll notify all participants when confirmed.
Can I donate separately to fundraise?
Yes. Share this donation link with your network to raise money on top of your registration.
